Elevation gain: 715m

Come for an evening workout of hiking up Prairie Mountain; the ultimate training grounds for staying in condition for summer hikes.

You will be hiking at your own pace but will need to turn around and head back down regardless of your position after 70 minutes. That will allow you 65 minutes to come down from the turnaround point. EVERYONE MUST BE DOWN BY 8:15PM! NO IFS, ANDS OR BUTS!!!!

Note this hike is NOT suitable for beginners or folks who are not completely familiar with this hike as we will hike at a brisk or fast pace and you will possibly be hiking on your own as the group may split depending on your individual pace. The event is geared towards personal best times so be prepared to hike up and down on your own in the event you do not find a compatible hiking partner. People will begin their ascent at 6:00 pm sharp so please plan to be there at least 10 minutes beforehand. We will all meet at the trailhead/parking area as a group at the end of the hike before leaving.

For those who may be interested - after returning to the trailhead/parking area, we will be heading over to the Bragg Creek Powderhorn Saloon for a quick après-hike drink and/or pub fare.
