Itinerary:

This trip is for strong intermediate to advanced skiers who can find their own way along the trails. We’ll ski about 27km in about 5 hours. For those that don’t want to go so far, there are options to take shorter routes, down to about 19km. You might want a snack to eat in the car when we get to the parking lot, so we don’t have to stop right away for a snack.

Distance: 19 - 27 km return
Duration: 5 hours (plus vehicle travel time, about 1.5 hours each way)
Sunrise: 0836 Sunset: 1636

Description:
From the Boulton Creek parking lot, the long route (27km) follows Moraine, Fox Creek, Elk Pass, and up Blueberry Hill. Then down Blueberry Hill, along Elk Pass, Tyrwhitt, Pocaterra, and Packers back to Boulton Creek. The short route (19km) skips Blueberry Hill and returns to Boulton Creek via Whiskey Jack instead of Packers.

Equipment: Cross country skis and wax

Car Pool: Location to be determined. The departure time is 0800. Please be there by 0750 so we have enough time to put people and gear together for the car pool and still leave by 0800.
