Itinerary:
Note:Hiking boots required-sorry no runners.
When selecting a hike, always remember to review the elevation & distance & hike within your own ability.

Distance: 8km round trip
Elevation gain: 715m

The route for this hike is well travelled & the climb is steep, though this is well worth the effort. The view from a tongue of land at the top is spectacular; Calgary to the east, Moose Mountain to the north and Banded Peak and range to the west.

Please note that the event duration is approximate, always expect the unexpected and come prepared.Note: We will NOT be hiking at a fast pace so that we can enjoy the views.

Drive south on Macleod Trail & exit out of town on 22X westbound (Marquis of Lorne). If you drive by Spruce Meadows you know that you're heading in the right direction . Highway 22X turns into 22 just before Priddis-keep going westbound the 22 turns into HWY66. Park at the winter gate right by the Elbow Falls turnoff.
