Itinerary:
Ice Skating. Depending on conditions, we will go to one of the following locations (in order of preference):
  • Bowness Park: The bonfires at the lagoon's edge help warm up frosty fingers and toes.
  • Olympic Plaza downtown (if it's nice out but the lagoon isn't frozen yet)
  • In the case of bad weather, we'll go instead to the Olympic Oval.
    Admission at the Oval is $4.75/adult - you will pay at the door

- Skates (rentals are available at the Oval only)		Recommended Items to Bring:

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Bowness Park:
West on Bowness Road, about 12.0 km from downtown Calgary at 48 Avenue and 88 Street NW. Meet in the parking lot near the lagoon.
Transit: Use bus 105 or 40.

Olympic Plaza:
Downtown at the corner of 7th Ave and 1st/2nd St SW.
Transit: Take the LRT downtown. Get off at the Olympic Plaza (westbound train) or Centre St or City Hall (eastbound train).

Olympic Oval:
Take 32nd Ave west of Crowchild Trail to Collegiate Blvd. Continue on Collegiate Blvd toward the Oval. Park in the L9 parking lot before reaching the Oval. We'll meet inside the front doors.
Transit: Take the NW LRT line to the University station. Use the Campus Map below to find the Oval.
