The Banff Mountain Festivals which include a Book Festival and a Film Festival are world renown and attract visitors from all over North America. This Thursday evening presentation will feature two excellent speakers who will be reading from their respective books: Ed Viesturs (No Shortcuts To The Top) and Steph Davis (High Infatuation).

You must purchase your own ticket to get on this event. Once you purchase your ticket , please notify me by e-mail and I will move you from the waitlist on to the event. Tickets are $16.00 each and can be purchased by calling 1-800-413-8368 or online @Banff Mountain Festivals

Please Note: This event takes place in Banff which means that you must leave town no later than 6:00PM (preferably 5:45PM) and will likely be back in Calgary just before midnight. I may stay overnight in Banff but will try to arrange carpools in advance.

To THE BANFF CENTRE - traveling westbound on the Trans-Canada Highway 1 from Calgary, take the first exit to Banff. Make a left hand turn at the base of this exit ramp. Follow this road (Banff Avenue) into the Town of Banff. Continue on Banff Avenue until Wolf Street. At Wolf Street, turn left and continue on this road until the T-intersection. At this point, turn right onto St-Julien Road. St-Julien Road leads directly into The Banff Centre.
