Itinerary:
Ice Skating at Bowness Lagoon -- weather permitting. Bonfires out on the ice help warm frosty fingers and toes. Remember to dress in warm layers! If you don't skate - come on out anyway and hang out with us by the fire.

From 7:15 til 7:30 or so, I'll be waiting near the snack bar on the side closest to the lagoon if you want to check in with me and meet up with others before heading out onto the pond. If you arrive later than that, watch for us gathering and re-grouping from time to time by the firepits or somewhere out on the pond.
I'm not certain if skate rentals will be available at the lagoon that night, but you can check by calling "311." Rentals may also be available at the UofC Outdoor Centre or Sports Rent.
Hockey sticks are not allowed at Bowness Park.
Hopefully the concession stand will be open but it might be a good idea to bring your own warm drinks and snacks just in case.
The washrooms (heated) usually are open.
I've left the registration date open til event start time so if it turns out that you can't attend afterall, please remove your name from the list - THANK YOU! - no need to contact your coordinator by phone/email.
