Wonderful mini-parks are hidden throughout established neighbourhoods in Calgary. Roxboro Natural Park is one such secret gem. A treed dirt pathway climbs to the top of the escarpment where expansive views of Mission, Connaught, and downtown Calgary towers are the reward. Native grasses, shrubs, and flowers line the path, and in spring, the musky scent of wolf willows is almost overwhelming! From dirt path to sidewalks, up stairs and along the river pathways, you will travel through Parkhill, Riverdale, Elbow Park and Roxboro. Make sure to work up a sweat on the Glencoe stairs before looping back through the trendy Mission shopping area to Roxboro.

Explorer Trip: Although your coordinator has done this trip before, she's never been able to figure out how to do it as described in the book... please allow time/patience for unforseen circumstances.
