Since we were able to obtain the theater room for free, in return Cardel would graciously appreciate donations of 1 non-perishable food item per attendee, which they collect to support local charities

Mike Mckay from Calgary Search and Rescue has graciously offered to give us a presentation on how important it is to be prepared when you go out to the mountains so as to prevent situations they have encountered. Some of the topics he will cover are: situations that Calgary Search & Rescue have encountered, basic equipment needed, 1st aid kit considerations, terrain calculation, bear awareness, etc.

This will be a very unique & informative lecture. Calgary Search & Rescue members have to go through extensive training to be able to work well as a team and conduct unfortunate searches that often could have been prevented. So come on out and learn How To Be Safe in the Mountains.

Please Note: No-shows will be recorded and non-signatures on the event waiver will be considered no-shows. Please remember that it is your responsibility to check in with the coordinator. For those who have not completed a 2008 Waiver please bring a completed-signed & wintessed one.

We have Cardel Homes' state-of-the-art theatre venue reserved for our private use.
