This trip is for advanced skiers and strong intermediate skiers who are comfortable doing 25-35km in about 5 hours, with a few short stops along the way. Depending on the make-up of the group, we'll do 25km, 35km, something in-between, or split up into 2 groups. There are lots of opportunities to adjust the routes and groups along the way.

XC skis and wax
Snacks and/or lunch
Lots to drink
Clothing appropriate for the weather forecast, plus an extra warm jacket to wear if we stop for an extended period of time

If you aren’t carpooling, we’ll meet you at the Visitor Centre in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, about 3km after turning right at the Hwy 40 Winter Gate. Please be there by 1045.

Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $75.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Thursday, April 18, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
