Itinerary:
This is an in and out trail (15kms one way) with most of the hard work on the trail going in. It has plenty of rooty and rocky sections requiring lots of technical work as it climbs up onto the side of Mt. Temple. Once you reach the high point the trail is very scenic but also narrow and somewhat exposed. Caution is advised when taking in the views unless you are stopped.

This is a fairly challenging trail so strong intermediate climbing and descending skills are required. It will also be a fast paced ride.

Starting in Lake Louise we'll ride up to the junction of Moraine lake road and Paradise Valley. After a short distance we take a left onto Moraine Lake trail.

We will stop at the lake for lunch before heading back on the same trail. You can purchase snacks and drinks at the lake. .

For those that are interested, we will go to the Post Hotel for beer and snacks after the ride. Please remember this when car pooling.

Event Directions:I think you all know how to get to Lake Louise. Go through the 4 way stop, drive past Lagans and take the first right on the other side of the under pass. This will take you towards the train staion restaurant and the trail parking is on the left before the restaurant.

Currently the Tramline trail is closed so the meeting spot may be changed. I will send an update if needed.
