Itinerary:
Enjoy casual funk classes, incorporating moves from jazz, hip-hop, disco and other popular dance styles. Each week we'll have practice and a choreography from a different genre of music, including funk, hip-hop, Middle Eastern groove, percussion/drums, classic funk (ie. James Brown), bhangra, raggae, 60s Baltimore groove (from movie Hairspray), disco, African funk, and South American groove. Groovin' this week to Will Smith's "It’s All Good".

Classes will include warm-up, strength, cool-down and stretch, and will involve learning some simple choreographed moves to a different song each week, allowing for easy drop-in casualness. Aerobic work-out and lots of fun guaranteed. Classes are $5/ea and run from February 9th to June 29th, 6PM-7PM. Sign up for one, some, or all!

Make sure you're there promptly for a 6PM start - we have the dance studio booked for only one hour, from 6PM to 7PM at Varsity Community Center

Note that I (Rhonda) have been dancing all my life, and will be teaching these classes, but I am NOT a professional dance instructor.

Required Items to Bring:
- Comfortable clothes (no jeans)
- Indoor aerobic runners or jazz shoes (or be prepared to dance barefoot)
- Water

From the entrance, come down the stairs, then go straight down the hall, through the set of doors to the very end and down the set of three small stairs to get to the dance studio.
