Itinerary:
This trip is for intermediate and above skiers. It's about 18km with several hundred meters of gain, so if you haven't been doing some regular cardio you will likely find it to be too challenging.

We'll follow a classic route, full of fun, and sure to leave you refreshed for the week ahead and excited to get out again next weekend!

We'll start off at the Boulton Creek Trading Post parking lot where we'll climb 219m up the Whiskey Jack trail to Tyrwhitt. There, we'll enjoy a well-deserved break as we pass through Tyrwhitt's scenic, snow-drenched meadows on our way to Elk Pass. From the pass, we'll enjoy a little bit of downhill. After downhill section we will add climb to Blueberry Hill which offers a wonderful view of the Kananaskis Lakes in the valley below. The trip back is mainly downhill (some steep sections) which will offer us a chance to practice out technique. We will continue via Fox Creek, where the trail narrows and follows the stream as it twists and turns through the dense pines. We'll finish off by taking Moraine's gentle ups and downs back to Boulton Creek.

To date some of these trails have not been machine track-set, so expect skier tracked terrain .
