Volunteer ForumThe volunteer team uses an online forum to discuss issues. The executive team, Ed, Kevin, Mike, Karen D & Michelle P and Ed, Kevin, Mike, Karen D & Michelle P, facilitate the forum discussion and use everyone's input to come to decisions. We invite your questions and comments as a valued member of our team regarding these issues. Please become familiar with the forum and put your two-cents-worth in as appropriate.Accessing the Volunteer Forum: Our Volunteer Forum is actually just a secured area in our member forum found at http://coc.rezgeek.com. If you already have an account on the COC Forum, gaining access to the Volunteer Forum area is simple - just send an e-mail to our forum administrator, Ian, at forum@calgaryoutdoorclub.com and give him your name and your forum username. The Forum Administrator will check that you're on the volunteer page (which is why he needs your name) and then activate your account for access to the volunteer forum board (which is why he needs your forum username). Do note, though, that access to the volunteer forum is only available to you after you have officially joined the volunteer team, aka "you have your star". Registering: If you do not yet have an account on our forum, note that you will have to register for one. This is a separate account from the one you use to log in to the COC web site - they are not linked. To Register: 1) In the Volunteers' Area, click "New Forum" (or go to http://COC.rezgeek.com) 2) Click "Register" at the top right and follow the steps to get your account set up. 3) At this point, you will have access to the 'public' forum boards, but you do NOT yet have access to the volunteer forum. To get access to the volunteer forum, you will have to contact the Forum Administrator as above. Posting and Other Info: 1) Information on how to use the forum is available at http://COC.rezgeek.com/faq.php. 2) Any questions that are not answered on that page can be sent to forum@calgaryoutdoorclub.com |
