Write Up:True to the forecast, we arrived at the trailhead and started out in rain showers which turned to snow showers further up the trail. Approx 3/4 from the pass the rain stopped and clouds lifted, revealing at times clear and then misty beautiful views. A wonderful day in superb company, although somewhat cooler temps and longer duration than originally anticipated.
