Once again we give thanks to Sandy Cross whose generosity and foresight provided this wonderful area for us to hike and appreciate. The weather was perfect for a fall hike over the rolling hills and forests. Instead of the usual Pine Creek Trail, we took the shorter Fescue Trail and added the Chevron Aspen trail at the end. The Chevron Aspen trail is a much prettier end to the hike than the hill at the end of the Pine Creek Trail. No wildlife sighted but the trees were at their best and the company was terrific.
