Write Up:Dropped down to about +1 from +8 in the afternoon. Was expecting the
trails to be a little slushy but they weren't, ended being hard packed
and fast. Even the normally muddy hill section of the Spine was frozen
over. Both Jim and Paul didn't have studded tires and did just fine.
Only when we got near 37th avenue did the trail become icy and a little
hard to navigate without studs. My lite died at the half way point at
bridge #1 and I used Pauls spare handle bar light which I found very
difficult to see. We rode 2hr 18minutes, just over 215m of elevation
gain, 14.2km. Headed to Dixons for 5 cent ribs and a few drinks.
