Write Up:A wild, wild way to start an event this morning. Things settled down dramatically after the cold front had moved through making our travel to the trailhead much less adventurous. The adventure quickly returned after making a couple of wrong turns on the way up to the Ranger Summit trail (and the coordinator ignoring a couple of obvious trail signs), meant the group had to take up a bushwhacking track to get back on the right trail. It snowed throughout the day but gladly the winds were reasonably light allowing everyone to enjoy their first snowshoe of the year. After a stop in Bragg Creek for a hot chocolate and a quick visit to the crafts fair, everyone arrived safely back in Calgary.
