Write Up:
Today was a lofty trip being the first snowshoe trip of the season for the majority of us. There was more snow than expected and no one had ventured here before us. That meant there was loads of trail breaking to be done and this group of seven worked together like a well-oiled machine to get the job done.

We had mostly blue sky with sunshine, but it did not warm up at all the whole day. When the wind blew the chill was high yet this group of seven could handle it, experience proves you come prepared for anything.

We noticed the areas that had been damaged by the flood. We noticed too that lots of work has been done to make it possible for us to enjoy the area. We certainly did enjoy the new snow, the scenery and the fact that the area was very quiet today.

Thank you all for joining me today and thank you Darlene for helping with the driving.
