The trail to C Level cirque is very entertaining, with a lookout down to Lake Minnewanka, old mine structures, and a variety of wildflowers. Once at the cirque, we hiked further up the trail to gain a better view down the Bow Valley and have lunch on some rocks with the marmots, chipmunks and pikas.
We then drove over to Lake Minnewanka to do the short hike to Stewart Canyon, which offers nice views of the lake,
We topped the day off with a celebration of the summer solstice on the outdoor patio of the Rose and Crown in Canmore.
