Write Up:Be open minded, look on the bright side and you will see the bright side! We started out in
drizzle and finished in drizzle. In between we had more drizzle, rain, cold plus wind. Then,
low and behold, it cleared long enough to enjoy some summit shots, to take a stroll along the
ridge and to capture what we came here for, photos of the colorful wildflower show. It was
quite the show! Wildflower-wise our visit was timely but not weather-wise. We were
fortunate to not have to deal with smoke or the smell of it. We were happy about that and
because we were all open minded, we did enjoy the bright side.
