Write Up:The ride to Peyto Lake from Lake Louise is definitely a very nice ride, one of my
favourites now. Everything feels very untouched. There was always a lot to stare at; the
wild flowers, the mountains, the lakes, and of course a few significant cracks along the
shoulder. The way to Peyto Lake is basically all uphill on the way there, which made for
a very quick return. The lake was just as beautiful as people had said and it is actually
possible to bike all the way up to the upper look out point (thanks Mike!). My only
criticism was the lunch at Num Ti Juh lodge, unfortunately they didn't have a lot of
selection remaining so I would recommend bringing a lunch next time. I
would suggest to anyone to make a trip out to the Icefield Parkway this summer, it's
really a nice drive and it's so close to Calgary.
