Write Up:
It was a dark and spooky night as we gathered at base of the Calgary Tower to begin our ghost tour: pub edition. Eighteen brave souls agreed to walk to Stephen Avenue to see what 'spirits' and ghosts would be waiting for us. Our guide told us many spooky tales of the buildings that aligned our walk to the James Joyce pub. Once settled at the pub we heard tale of a lady in white that can be heard crying in the women's washroom. No one knows why. Coincidence or not, as the stories were told quite a few glasses and plates were heard crashing in the background. We toured around more of downtown after enjoying a refreshment, stopping at the Palliser Hotel, which as my fellow ghostbusters will attest to, was indeed a scary experience. We then proceeded to the second pub of the night, the spooky Unicorn. Again we heard another story of a lady in white that can be heard crying in the women's washroom. It was a common theme actually. We ended the night here after few more tales and quite a few laughs.

Thanks everyone for joining me! A special thank you to Gerard and Neil for dressing up. Whose idea was that again? :)
