I would say that we all thoroughly enjoyed this hike. The trailhead was a bit hard to find and we ended up doing a 500 meter warm-up hike down the Montane Traverse, but we quickly turned ourselves around, and another group of hikers, and headed in the right direction. We took our time going up and coming down, and finished in just under 6 hours. It was quite windy at the top and in certain open areas. The tea house was in fact taken down, however the helicopter landing pad is still there (which provided a bit of shelter at lunch time). We saw several interesting birds during the day, including a Pileated Woodpecker and a Bald Eagle. However, even more fascinating was Mick's ability to turn every stone into a comfortable recliner lol. A special thanks to Ross for driving. :)
