Write Up:Douglas Fir Trail is considered unstable due to water damage and closed until repairs are done, according to the City of Calgary website. Thank you COC member who emailed me Saturday evening for the heads up on this fact. The group met as scheduled, and we walked a loop from the meeting location, west along the river until the path disappeared and we continued along the railway track to the bridge on 16th Ave, across the bridge, and back along the north side of the river to Angels café and back into Edworthy Park. It was a nice 1.5 hour walk with good company and good conversation. It was a little cool in temperature, and we were grateful for gloves and ear-warmers. Thanks for coming out!
