Write Up:Thanks to a lot of very hard work by volunteer trail crews, Ribbon
Creek is returning to the magnificent hike it used to be. The
temporary reroute is a pleasant stroll along wide trails altho adds
more elev gain/loss than the regular route. Many new bridges have
been built over creek crossings and the aftermath of devastating
floods and mud and rock slides are visible everywhere. Distance is
about the same as before. Took us 6.5 hours for the return trip. One
of my all time favorite hikes :-)
