An absolutely picture perfect day to enjoy Ribbon Creek, Falls and Lake! The Terrace trail detour was clearly marked right next to the original Ribbon Creek Trailhead and after about 3km on a road like route we crossed one of several brand new bridges and returned to the creekside. We stopped multiple times to enjoy several small waterfalls scattered along the creek before finally reaching spectacular Ribbon Falls about 3.5 hours in. We settled there for awhile and had a bit of a lunch break before tackling the final 2km over the falls and up the chains to Ribbon Lake. When we arrived at the lake the campground was completely empty and we took full advantage setting up our own little mini camp by the group fire pit. It was an amazing experience having the entire area to ourselves as we knew that would change in a few short hours when weekend campers moved in. By the time we made it back to our vehicles we had been gone close to 10 hours and were more than ready to kick off our hiking shoes.

Thanks for coming gang, it was so nice to be able to enjoy Ribbon Creek again!
