(Pardon the delay in posting this write up. I’ve had a lot on my plate for the past month. Same album and write up on each day of the sale)

Things just sort of find their own path.
As a private commitment over seven years I donated a little over $14,400. Three very sweet elderly ladies, Dorothy, OJ and Madeline helped me so much.
I made this a COC based event in September, 2007. Things evolved. Things got bigger. COC volunteers continue to be wonderfully supportive. Roy P. has helped with every sale since September, 2007. Over the years I accumulated an array of display shelves, canopies and contributors. Sponsors who insist on anonymity, help with feeding the volunteers. Mustard Seed does more and more to facilitate success with banquet tables, great posters and a progression of amazing signage. The August, 2015 sale has taken the cumulative total to over $134,000.
I’ve had Mustard Seed volunteers on many past events but nothing like this year. Christal L. is the Donor Stewardship Coordinator with the Mustard Seed. She did an amazing job putting out the word to their network of supporters. Volunteers came from a number of local churches. Glenn and I were even able to bring in two more truckloads while the sale progressed. The family of Loretta, Murray and Gavin F. had a big role in saving the day on Sunday.
Lynnell I. has the wonderful smile in the photo album after the “Christal and Jim” photo. She was my contact for her organization, Junior Chamber International. Their members came out in very good numbers too. Check out their organization at http://www.jcicalgary.com
I truly appreciate the opportunity to meet and volunteer with such a wonderful and diverse group. Thank you so much!
