Write Up:We were fortunate to have the temperature and conditions better than was
forecast. A warm, sunny, blue sky day, with minimal wind. We gathered in
the parking lot and set out about 1:10 pm, and hiked a loop towards
Cochrane and then back, and then took a trail eastward, until it was
time to head back to the cars. The loop had some nice hills, whereas the
east trail was quite flat. It was one of those days a person could just
keep going if time was not an issue. Will definitely return another day
to explore more of the park. Thanks for coming out everyone, and for the
good conversations.
