Write Up:Although the dark clouds were looming we managed to dodge the wet weather and enjoy two great hikes.
Grassi Lakes was a very busy place but we found out why when we made it to the top to see the beautiful blue lakes. During lunch we watched one crazy foreigner who decided to take a dip in the frigid lake. We explored over to the other side of the lake to find the pictographs but they were hard to make out what they were. This also looked like a good place for beginner rock climbers to practice.
Grotto Canyon was a much tamer hike. We met up with some U of C Geology students doing some homework. There were a few rock climbers at this spot too as well as an Inuksuk colony.
