The air was cool and sky sometime overcast but four of us dodged all the rain and enjoyed a pleasant long weekend backpacking into LM9. On Sunday, we hiked up to Alymer Lookout, where we took in the spectacular views of the lake and enjoyed a short snooze in the sun.
Had it not been for the Park Warden permit check upon exiting the trail, we would have made it back to our car completely dry :-).
Thanks everyone for taking a chance and braving the unfavorable weather forecast. It was so worthwhile, the weekend was superb!!
