Write Up:
It was an absolutely gorgeous evening for a little ice skating down at Bowness Lagoon tonight. The crowds were light and the ice was in fair condition considering the recent mild temperatures. The channel has been extended this year which was a nice surprise and in celebration of Canada's 150th birthday they have added a nice logo to the ice surface.

After skating for awhile, the majority of us stopped to enjoy some snacks and social time around the fire before heading back out again for a few more laps. Many thanks to an awesome group of COC'ers for joining me, it was lots of fun!
