Write Up:We got what I wished we would, a full day donned in snowshoes with loads of white gold to
indulge ourselves! As we reached the Alberta/British Columbia border, the snow levels
increased and it was magic finding our way through the forest to Fox Lake. It appeared we may
have been the first to snowshoe through here this season. Our visit at The Lake was just over
an hour filled with dining time and of course play time letting the child without come out. We
were not afforded the blue sky and sunshine which was in the forecast but we did receive warm
temperatures and a calm day (until the last two or so minutes when the wind whipped up). What
made our day bright and colourful was the fun-filled cheerful group!
Thank you Leena and Henk for being our drivers today. Thank you all for joining in on making
this such a fun day and I hope to share time in the snow with you another time.
