Write Up:
Our group of 10 avid hikers and explorers conquered the seldom visited Piper's Pass. Some of our group also scrambled up to the top of a brown scree hill just to the west of the Pass. The skies cleared and the sun shone on multicoloured rocks and scree and autumnal red fire-weed.
We were about 90 minutes behind schedule by the end of the hike but there were no other mishaps.
