Write Up:A very warm and smoky day in K country today. We made quick work of the trail to Rawson Lake and as conditions were favourable decided to challenge the Sarrail Ridge trail. Now, to call it a "trail" is a stretch. I do like challenges but climbing straight up a lose gravel slope for ~500M isn't very appealing to me. The views from the top are absolutely amazing, making the climb "worth it". Going back down the "trail" is another experience I don't feel the need to repeat. All was made better with a soak in the lake for a couple of us for our poor feet and legs.
