It was a hot one at Calgary's newest disc golf course this morning as some of the COC's finest gathered at Bonavista Downs with dreams of taking home the first green jacket of the season. We had the course to ourselves and took full advantage, playing at an extremely casual pace throughout. When the final disc landed in basket 18 a hush fell over the crowd as the scores were tabulated. You could hear a pin drop as heavily favoured Jesse V waited anxiously for the results to be announced but in a stunning upset the prize would ultimately belong to your humble coordinator who scored an impressive 2 under par to steal the victory. Afterwards Tiger Woods presented Duane with the official Masters Disc Golf Green Jacket signalling the birth of a new era. What a day!
