Write Up:The weatherman fully coooperated for this hike. After hiking to the
end of the trail, we were able to explore the spiral canyon from one
end to the other. Three weeks ago it was still full of ice and water!
As is often the case with Nihahi Creek Trail, there was no one else
out there. The silence was nice! Gentle afternoon breezes kept us
cooler for the descent. This round trip 16k trail provides steady
walking, a fifteen-minute switchback climb, and a chance to explore a
spiral canyon safely.
