We spent a fun Saturday snowshoeing to Rummel Lake. Parking area was packed with cars but Rummel Lake is such a vast area and didn’t feel crowded at all. Sky was overcast and light sprinkling of snow, temperature was agreeable, low -10 and probably hit -5, and snow conditions were superb.
The trail is well defined. Some could argue that snowshoes are not necessary, but only if you stay on the trail :-). Our trip was 10.8kms total, 6.3kms in and 4.5kms out.
Enjoyed a safe and healthy adventure in the outdoors :-)… rare experience during our Covid-19 times.
