Write Up:Our hike started at 9:30 and ended at 1:30, exactly as planned. After
a long dry summer the trails had experienced a full day of rain the
day before, but the odd puddle was easily gotten around. Otherwise
the trail was in perfect condition. The weather made for a great day
out with great company. Although this is a pleasant hike any time of
year, I plan to offer it again in early July when the meadows at the
west end of the hike are at their wildflower best.
