Write Up:Twas the night of winter solstice, and all through Bowness Park,
lots of creatures were stirring, as we moved through the dark.
The lights were hung on the trees with such care,
In the hopes that the carollers would soon be there.
The wandering warblers was our singing group name,
Maureen, Sue, Cheryl and Keith were who came.
We sang with great joy and brought smiles to the faces,
Making quite a racket, but leaving no traces.
We received two donations for 110 dollars,
The Calgary food bank got it all from our hollers.
Such fun was had, though we got a bit cold,
We covered each song so they never got old.
We plan to head out again next year,
We'd love you to join us for some Christmas cheer.
We wish a Merry Christmas to each one of you,
And we look forward to seeing you in 2022!
