Write Up:
The hike up to the trailhead for Nahahi Creek was an easy walk along a gravel road. The trail to the creek was steep and we enjoyed lunch in the creek bed. After lunch we headed down the creek through the canyon through multiple obstacles of tight gullies, climbing down strategically placed logs, jumping puddles and avoiding boulders. We stopped at the 60 foot waterfall and turned around to hike up to the trailhead leading us back to the cars. Thank you to Tom for finding the easy escape route from going through the canyon obstacle course again! I was blessed to have such a group of adventurous and patient troops today.
