Write Up:We were expecting a winter wonderland but were pleasantly surprised by a
clear trail up to the scary chain section. The trail is well marked
with blue squares to keep you on track. We encountered a bit of hail
towards the summit so we chose to have a lunch break at the bivy
shelter. We took the west col trail down to avoid the scree section.
It was a bit muddy and there was a nice waterfall halfway down.
Kudos to our newest member, Jessica, for choosing this as her first hike
with the COC. Now she is ready for anything posted on the calendar.
