Write Up:With temperatures in the 20s and not many clouds in the sky, it truly
felt like a summer day, finally. Trails were a little muddy due to the
recent rains, but nothing we couldn't step around and stay dry. The
wildflowers were out in the meadows. We completed the hike in just over
4 hours, including a lengthy stop for lunch overlooking the Elbow Valley
and Moose Mountain. Thanks to all who attended and made it an excellent
outing for everyone.
