Coming off a very deflating loss to MJ on Sunday, I was encouraged by Parry to shake it off, get back on the horse and post another round for today which I am now happy I did!
For the first 2/3 of the game the battle for top spot was raging between Ken, Parry and Jesse but everything changed on hole 13. One of the most exciting plays in disc golf, a hole in one (ACE) by yours truly suddenly catapulted me into the lead and gave me the confidence to face the world again. I was, in the words of the late great Frank Costanza, REBORN! Then, the icing on the cake was managing to hold off the rest of the group over the final few holes to claim the Green Jacket. Too bad Maureen wasn't there, that would have been the cherry on top! LOL
As always, regardless of the score, we enjoyed a great time of fun and fellowship together. Thanks for playing, see you next time
