Write Up:It was the
Battle of the Sexes at Stanley Park today as the
guys faced off against the gals in a best of 3 tournament that would
rock the YYC cornhole community. The heavily favoured trio of Ryan,
Duane and Jesse took on the dynamic duo of Jodi & Fiona but lost badly
in the opener and had to quickly regroup in order to force a tie
breaker. In the end however, the ladies would not be denied winning
round three and becoming the COC's first ever cornhole tournament
champions! An obvious devastating loss for the guys who later
challenged the
results claiming Fiona was ineligible to compete after an anonymous
tip revealed she has been playing professionally south of the border
for years. The matter is still under investigation.
