Write Up:The sun was out and there was a bit of a chill in the air when we
started. The trail was a bit icy so we didn't make it far before we
had to put our microspikes on. We warmed up quick on the way up and
the stairs were relentless. The trail to Miner's Peak was snow
covered but there were still rocks sticking out to show us the way up.
The wind was blowing quite hard so we didn't stay too long on the
peak, just long enough to get a few pics. The saddle was our lunch
spot and again the wind was in our face the whole time so it was
quick.
Our group of 7 were quite quick finishing the entire hike in under 3
hours. Welcome to Ali and Vlad for attending your first event with
us!
