Write Up:It was a very chilly start at -19 but we walked very fast for the first
1km to warm up. Once we crossed the frozen creek, it was straight up
with a few flat spots to catch our breath. The lookouts were also a
welcome break with amazing views. The trail was covered in well packed
snow but as we got higher the snow was soft and deep. There were a few
"don't look down" moments as we climbed up the scramble section up to
the summit. There was a nice pink summit box at the top for us to sign
so there is proof we made it. The wind was light at the top but we hiked
down to a sunny spot for lunch. Our fast and efficient group only took
4 hours to polish off this 8.4km hike with 762m elevation gain.
