With another dose of unseasonably warm weather, we made our way to John Laurie Park on Sunday for our second disc golf event of the year. It was a glorious afternoon and a real thriller as the game was decided on the final hole. Parry lead the pack for over half the game but ran into trouble on the final two holes leaving the door open for someone else to swoop in and steal the win and when the dust settled that's exactly what happened. A truly heartbreaking loss for Sweller, who promises to make a YouTube video about what he called "his greatest choke of all time". lol
Anyway it was great to get together with everyone and enjoy a fun round in such fantastic weather. Special thanks to Colleen for coming out today and giving the game a try. She played quite well for her first outing.
