Write Up:We were a little worried that the snowstorm yesterday would have made
the hiking conditions not ideal but that was not the case. The trail
was covered in soft snowpack. There were icicles hanging from some the
rocks in the boulder field. At the first viewpoint after the boulder
field, there were goats grazing on the grass. It was quite windy at the
teahouse site so we decided to have lunch on our way down in a warmer
spot. We did not go further to the ridge as the conditions were not
safe to do so.
We were a speedy bunch managing to finish the hike in 4 hours.
