Write Up:
The calendar may have said January but the weather was far from it forcing me to post an incredibly rare winter disc golf outing today. It was an unexpected treat to get together with the gang again for a great time of fun and fellowship. Course conditions were amazing almost summer like with very little snow or ice to be found and yes it was breezy but the mild temperatures and bright sunshine more than made up for it.

Despite being a tad rusty everyone played quite well and as usual the battle for top spot was an entertaining one. When the dust settled, it was thrilling to be crowned the first champion of 2026 and receive an invitation to join the Florida Panthers at the White House to be officially recognized for my impressive win :P

Thanks for joining me today, it was great to see you all again. Looking forward to spring and the return of regular play.
