Write Up:Sunny, hot and the bugs kept us moving and swatting. The steep section
at the beginning of the trail was very soft dirt and loose rocks. We
took a little detour to avoid the washout section but had to turn around
to get back on the trail. We were lucky to have two new members, Pina
and Heidi join us for this adventure. We enjoyed lunch on the summit
with no wind until the flies came back. The steep section on the way
down was a challenge but we had lots of trees to hang onto. Once at the
bottom, we headed for the creek to cool off. Keeping this one as my
favourite winter hike as the summer conditions are just too challenging.
